Movie Posters

Movie Posters have been such a big part of my life since I was a kid. I started out collecting them. Amassing an inventory of thousands from the 60’s to today. With a bucket list goal of one day creating real ones for big movies and big studios. I’ve been really blessed to have now done that, several times, and with no end in sight! Here is just a sample of some of the many movie posters I’ve had the privilege of creating and/or working on.

Video Work

While the majority of my work tends to be print, creatively making stuff move and tell a story is where I love to play most. Here are just some of the video projects I’ve had the pleasure of directing, writing, or contributing to.

For The Win Project

The For The Win Project is a 501(c)3 approved charitable organization that gives seriously ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children the chance to be their favorite heroes in their very own “official” movie poster & trailer.

In doing this, we create a new sense of hope,  motivation, and self-esteem boost for each child.

Transforming them into celebrated, larger-than-life champions will be influential in raising both awareness and funds for whatever they may be up against.

Real life superheroes fighting the most important fight of all…the fight for their lives.

There are so many kids out there that deserve better.

In response, we developed a new mission.

It’s called The For The Win Project.

Because everyone deserves a chance to win, be awesome, and feel awesome.

Illustration

I’ve been drawing since I was a little guy. These days I don’t usually have as much time as I’d like. So I’ll often work with some even more talented illustrators than myself, and I’ll help direct each piece. Most of what you see here is 100% done by me. Others I’ll do the initial pose design, rough sketch, cleanup, color, and overall direction.

The TMNT and Monster Trucks illustrations are a team effort.

Partnerships

From Coca Cola to Pizza Hut to Google to McDonalds, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing brands through big film partnerships. Could be as simple as general creative direction or as big as an entire campaign creation. However, whoever, and whatever, we always find a cool way to make something awesome.

Pitch Presentations

Over the years I’ve created dozens and dozens of pitch decks and other movie presentations for a large variety of films. Here is a look at some slides/designs from some of the film presentations I’ve created. These are all created in Keynote or PowerPoint, with some assets being created in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.

Conceptual Movie Posters

Sometimes a studio, filmmaker, or company need a movie poster to help sell the film, or to showcase that the film is coming, but the marketing program hasn’t started yet for an official one-sheet. Other times it’s to show how brands could partner well with a film. I’ve done several posters for films all in various stages. Here are just a few.

8-bit

I love old video games and 8-bit art. It’s a fun retro challenge for me. Here’s some of the 8-bit art I’ve created.
